“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped.” - Psalm 28:7a

This verse serves as a good reminder that ultimately, our help comes from the Lord. Apart from Him, we can do nothing. A reminder that training and preparation alone cannot save us, which mirrors the Good News of the Gospel itself: we are saved by grace through faith, not by our works.

“But my eyes are toward you, O God, my Lord; in you I seek refuge; leave me not defenseless!” - Psalm 141:8
